UNBELIEVABLE: Baby with two horns born in Osun (PHOTOS)

The atmosphere in the maternity centre was serene. There was nothing suggesting the occurrence which took the reporter there. Nurses on duty were courteous but grew cautious and suspicious when it was obvious the reporter was not a patient. Why is he here?

The birth of a new born baby would normally elicit joy and excitement in people. It is more so when the mother has been longing for it without results for years.   But, the reverse was the case in a maternity centre (name withheld) situated at Ifosan area of Ilesa, in Osun State where a woman recently gave birth to a baby with two horns on its head.
A tip had given Saturday Tribune photos of the strange baby, the arrival of which caused fear and trepidation among the nurses and the proprietress of the maternity centre. The tip also described the hospital and the geography of its area of operation.
The description was vivid and accurate enough for  Saturday Tribune to locate the health centre without much difficulty. Here is the maternity centre where the baby with two horns was born. Then, there was a thick wall of silence. Nurses on duty would neither deny nor confirm the development. The reporter was tossed up and down and finally landed before the proprietress of the centre. She would not talk unless her identity and that of her hospital were protected. The reporter gave his words.

“It is true the baby was born,” she said, but added that the horror of the event compelled her to instruct her staff to keep sealed lips over the development, with a view to warding off public attention to the centre over the scary baby.
Speaking with Saturday Tribune during the visit on Thursday, the proprietress, (she is called matron by her staff) said  the woman who gave birth to this deformed baby was “about 25 years old and she has been without a child for three years.”
She explained that “this woman lives in one of the farm settlements on the outskirt of Ilesa. She registered for antenatal service here. So, when she wanted to put to bed, her relatives rushed her here to deliver the baby.
“But we were shocked to the marrow when she eventually delivered the baby with two horns on the head after going into labour for some hours. By the time she was delivered of the baby, it was already dead and we had to separate it from the placenta.
“I have never seen such a terrible creature in my life. So, we helped to pack the dead baby and the placenta and handed them over to them before they left our premises. It was indeed a fearful development and we were saddened about it.
“This is not something we can celebrate. So, I ordered by nurses and other attendants to keep their mouth shut over the incident. But, I am very surprised how you people got to know about it and came here to inquire about it. I do not want anyone to make something unnecessary out of this or create problems for us here,” she stated.
She would not disclose the whereabouts of the woman who delivered the baby.  “I cannot give you any details about her. Like I told you, she lives in one of the farm settlements on the outskirts of Ilesa and I don’t really know the area and I want you to leave me out of this matter,” she added.
The woman who froze when she was shown the photographs of the baby, however, confirmed its genuineness but asked how Saturday Tribune got them. A staff  member of the clinic also showed Saturday Tribune her own photos of the baby taken with her phone.

RELIGION: Pastor arrested for threatening homosexuals using book of Leviticus

A Christian preacher in Taunton has been found guilty of using “threatening” language by quoting the Bible when speaking about homosexuality on the streets in June last year.Former paratrooper Mike Overd, was convicted under section 5 of the Public Order Act, which concerns causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. The judge at Bristol Crown Court told him that he should not have used the particular verse in the Bible – Leviticus 20:13 – because it uses the word “abomination”, Christian Today reports.Pastor Mike Overd
The judge then suggested that there were other verses he could have chosen if he wanted to talk about what the Bible says about homosexuality.
Libby Towell, spokesperson for the Christian Legal Centre, who represented Overd, said: “The judge is effectively censoring the Bible and saying that certain verses aren’t fit for public consumption.”
Overd was given a fine of £200, and told to pay £1,200 in costs and compensation. This included a sum for the emotional harm caused to the homosexual man, who is also a Christian, to whom he was speaking when he quoted Leviticus.
He was, however, acquitted of a second charge with regard to comments he made about the prophet Mohammed in a separate incident in July 2014. When talking about religious leaders, Overd said that you could not compare Mohammed with Jesus – adding that if a man marries a nine-year-old girl, “In this country we call that paedophilia”
The complaint was brought by a woman who described herself as a devout Christian, although no Muslims had complained about the comments. The woman said she was offended by the comments and thought it was “inflammatory”. However, the judge said that it had failed to be proven.
Overd has been preaching on the streets for more than five years, and this is not the first time he’s faced legal action; in 2012 he was acquitted of similar charges.
“There’s been a concerted campaign to stop him speaking the word of God on the streets of Taunton,” Towell said. “Today was the result that the police had been looking for.”
But she added that this would not prevent Overd from preaching on the streets again. “He answers to God,” Towell said, adding that he would be seeking legal advice about what he should do next.
Towell said the Christian Legal Centre stood by Overd. “He’s not preaching his opinion. He’s preaching what God’s word says.”

NEWS: Accused Bank Robber Says Virgin Mary Told Him To Eat His Feces (shit) And He Did.

Andrew Gilbertson
Holy sh*t.
A California man accused of robbing a bank apparently decided he was done taking crap from prosecutors, so decided to take matters into his own hands and eat some instead.
Andrew Gilbertson pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity after allegedly robbing a San Luis Obispo bank in 2013, KSBY reported.
Police said during the robbery, 40-year-old Gilbertson disguised himself by wearing ahat and a pink child's backpack before slipping a note to bank tellers demanding cash, according to Cal Coast News. He allegedly said it was the Virgin Mary who suggested the disguise.
Despite the previously poor advice, Gilbertson said he listened to the Virgin Mary again Wednesday when she told him to eat his own feces while on the witness stand. The suspect allegedly reached into his pants, removed his own waste and began eating the cheeky snack. In the chaos that followed Judge Donald Umhofer called for a recess.
When the trial later resumed, a mental health expert testified he saw Gilbertson hitting himself to get rid of the voices in his head. Online records show Gilbertson was previously convicted of sexual assault.
The trial is ongoing.

FUNNY: HOW A CUBAN SPY MYSTERIOUSLY GOT HIS WIFE PREGNANT FROM A U.S. PRISON.

It might be the most bizarre
of the closely guarded secrets from last week's
historic agreement between the United States and
Cuba: How did the leader of a Cuban spy ring
serving life in a California federal prison manage to
impregnate his wife 2,245 miles away in Havana?
As part of the most significant diplomatic
breakthrough between the United States and Cuba
in more than 50 years, a prisoner swap was made.
To uphold its part of the bargain, the U.S. released
three Cuban spies, including Gerardo Hernandez,
the head of the spy ring known as the Wasp
Network.
Hernandez had an ear-to-ear smile Wednesday as
he arrived at Havana's Jose Marti International
Airport. State TV showed Hernandez as he was
greeted by President Raul Castro and then
embraced and kissed his wife, Adriana Perez.
Cubans watching the nonstop coverage of the
prisoner swap were shocked when the cameras
zeroed in on Hernandez hugging Perez. She was
obviously in the late stages of a pregnancy that had
no easy explanation.
Not only had Hernandez been serving a double life
sentence, but his wife also worked for Cuba's
intelligence services and was banned by U.S.
officials from visiting her husband in prison,
according to the Cuban government.
Rumors swirl in sultry Havana
The subject became the immediate hot topic in
Havana where rumors swirled fast about the baby's
paternity and whether the Cuban government could
have somehow arranged a clandestine conjugal visit
under the nose of U.S. authorities.
The couple appeared at another event on Saturday,
where together with the other freed spies, Castro
and the communist island's top political and military
officials showered them with applause.
A beaming Hernandez stood by Perez, whose round
stomach was clearly visible for viewers of the live
broadcast
As the couple left the celebration, Hernandez hinted
at the secret surrounding the pregnancy.
"Everyone's asking, and we have had a lot of fun
with the comments and speculations. The reality is
it had to be kept quiet," Hernandez told the
government-run television channel. "We can't give
a lot of details, because we don't want to hurt
people who meant well."
He said his wife's pregnancy was a direct result of
the high-level talks.
"One of the first things accomplished by this
process was this," Hernandez said, gesturing to his
Perez's stomach. "I had to do it by 'remote control,'
but everything turned out well."
Two sources involved with the diplomatic talks,
when questioned by CNN, uncloaked the mystery:
During the negotiations, Hernandez's sperm was
collected and sent to Cuba, where Perez was
artificially inseminated.
The U.S. Justice Department confirmed the story,
without going into the details.
"We can confirm the United States facilitated Mrs.
Hernandez's request to have a baby with her
husband," spokesman Brian Fallon said.
What the U.S. would gain
Why would the U.S. government do this? The
artificial insemination was made possible in
exchange for better conditions for Alan Gross, a
U.S. contractor imprisoned in Cuba. Gross was
released last week as part of the prisoner swap.
"In light of Mr. Hernandez's two life sentences,"
Fallon said, "the request was passed along by
Senator [Patrick] Leahy, who was seeking to
improve the conditions for Mr. Gross while he was
imprisoned in Cuba."
The discretion on both sides makes sense.
For 18 months, officials from both countries refused
to admit that they were even holding high-level
talks.
Officials communicated via back channels, knowing
that any leak about the talks could doom the talks.
Impregnating Perez involved cutting through
bureaucratic red tape at multiple U.S. government
agencies.
As Perez began to show, officials from both
countries fretted over how they would explain her
pregnancy and what to do if the baby arrived before
the talks succeeded.
2001 conviction
Hernandez was convicted in 2001 of conspiracy to
commit murder for his role in the Brothers to the
Rescue shoot down that left four Cuban-Americans
dead after Cuban Air Force MIGs blew up the two
civilian planes as they flew toward Havana to
distribute anti-government leaflets. He received
two life sentences.
Cuban authorities said Hernandez and the other
operatives were trying to prevent terrorist attacks
from being carried out on their homeland by violent
Miami exiles.
That the U.S. government helped a man convicted
of plotting the murder of four Cuban-Americans and
spying on the exile community in Miami will likely
further rankle many of the same Cuban-Americans
who were already furious that Washington is
restoring diplomatic relations with Havana.
But Tim Reiser, an aide to Leahy who worked to
broker the landmark agreement with Cuba, said
helping Hernandez conceive a child led to better
treatment for Gross by Cuban authorities and was
an important concession to help reach a historic
deal.
"The expectation was that this man would die in
prison. This was her only chance of having a child,"
Rieser told CNN.
Gerardo Hernandez said he and his wife are
expecting their baby daughter to arrive in two
weeks and they will name her Gema.
